ČIURLIONIS.RITMAS "SUTEMA"
The fabric "Sutema" was created based on M.K. Čiurlionis' vignette for the Lithuanian folk song Sutems tamsi naktužėlė III, 1909.
The fabric features a deep and decorative background, composed of dark and light lines in a graphic style. The primal power of vegetation is revealed in multiple layers: dashes and small dots form a cohesive design.
The project was a collaboration between UAB "Audėjas" and artist Monika Žaltauskaitė-Grašienė.
