ČIURLIONIS "NEMUNAS"
The fabric “Nemunas” was created based on M.K. Čiurlionis’s vignette for the Lithuanian folk song On the Other Side of the Nemunas IV, 1909.
The fabric features a unique network of lines and patterns, composed of intertwining layers of plants—motifs from both terrestrial and aquatic vegetation—creating a spatial pattern effect within the textile. The swirling designs convey a sense of musical rhythm in the fabric.
